Hi Jacksonville! It’s that time for my annual charity organization post. This year, our group is raising funds for The Ark Wildlife Care and Sanctuary, Inc in Hillard Florida. This nonprofit is run by a husband and wife team who rehabs all wildlife; deer, foxes, pigs, bobcats, otters, turtles, rabbits, etc. If the animal can be re-released, it is. If it can’t, they build a new home on the property and care for it for the remainder of the animals life. We are holding a volunteer day, Saturday, August 29th from 9:30am – 12:30pm. Please no one under the age of 18. If you’d like a ride, I have room in my care for 3 people. If you can’t volunteer, but would like to donate items I’d be happy to pick up the following: Sheets/towels (used are fine), Bleach, Tide Original Laundry Detergent, Clorox spray, 409 Spray.
If you can’t donate time or items, check out our live events all throughout Jacksonville. To register to play in the event visit Siegtoberfest.com . If you’d like to come to the event, but not play, you can still donate through our 50/50 raffle. Please contact me with any questions you may have about any of our events! All proceeds are directly donated to The Ark.
