- 2 or 3 teams will stand around a table, alternating team members. No two players from the same team should be standing next to each other.
- The play will move clockwise around the table with the 1st player chosen by the Spielen Meister.
- Each player will have 3 chips and will open up rolling all three dice. However, once you lose chips, you can only throw as many dice as the chips you have. AKA, two chips – two dice.
- The dice will have a L, an R and a PROST on them, along with three Siegtoberfest sides:
- – An L means pass a chip to the person on your left- An R means pass a chip to the person on your right- A Prost means you put a chip in the center of the table…..yell Prost! and all players from that team must take a drink. The number of chips that go into the center is how many drinks the team must take.- A Siegtoberfest means you don’t need to do anything (keep your chips)
- Players must use the cup and must “Shake” the cup before the roll with one hand over the top and moving the cup up and down. No spinning the dice in the cup and turning it over.
- If a player is out of chips, pass the dice to the next player with chips, but all players must stay until the very end. You never know when you may be back in the game.
- To win, you must be the only player with chips AFTER you have completed your roll.
- Example: Two players left. Player one rolls and all his chips go in the middle. Player two must roll the dice and if they have a chip after they roll, they win. If all of their chips go into the center, it’s a tie. If player two passes their last chip(s) to another player(s), those player(s) must roll the dice and then the same situation as win, tie or pass occurs. A tie occurs only between the last two players (teams) to roll.
- Winners receive 5 pts, loser receives 3 pts. (2nd place 4 pts if there are 3 teams)
- Like crossing a Street…Look to your left, look to your right and PROST!
